Governors to Attempt to Fix "Frequent Flyer" Problem

The National Governors Association and seven state governors (from Alaska, Colorado, Kentucky, New Mexico, Puerto Rico, West Virginia and Wisconsin) are trying to develop new solutions for hospitals' "frequent flier" problems. They are looking for ways to connect people who use hospitals to address recurring health issues with community services in an effort to reduce costs. They also plan to address non-medical issues like transportation that can impact patients' decisions about where to seek care.
