This year marks the third anniversary of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) report, The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health. A live webcast this afternoon as part of the IOM's 2013 Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Lecture series, will discuss the impact of the report, progress in implementing the report's recommendations at the national and local levels, and what's on the horizon.
The discussion will be moderated by Harvey Fineberg, president of the IOM and Donna Shalala, president of the University of Miami and chair of the Committee on the RWJF Initiative on the Future of Nursing will deliver the keynote address.
