We're pleased to announced that Gareth Parry, research scientist at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will join us next week to give a presentation entitled, "Quality Improvement and Evaluation." Gareth Parry is a Research Scientist at IHI and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Currently he is leading the development of an evaluation system within the IHI. Previously, he has been Director of Quality Measurement & Analysis in the Department of Medicine, Children’s Hospital Boston. In the UK, he was a Reader and Research at the University of Sheffield, where he undertook research on evaluating health services delivery and on the development, assessment and application of risk-adjustment methods in intensive care. He is currently a member of the Massachusetts Performance Measurement Expert Panel and the National Quality Forum’s Measure Prioritization Advisory Committee.
