Hassmiller Presented the CARE Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Sue Hassmiller, the 2010 winner of the CARE Lifetime Achievement Award, presented during the third annual Retail Education Clinician Congress.   Hassmiller is the senior advisor for nursing/director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Initiative on the Future of Nursing at the Institute of Medicine.  The award is also known as the Loretta Ford Award and its namesake had high praise for this year's winner:
“What Sue Hassmiller is doing through the IOM and RWJ Future of Nursing is no short of a miracle,” said special guest presenter Loretta Ford. “The recommendations that will come out in the fall will revolutionize nursing and move us forward light years.”
